Google only considers 65% of the entire user generated spam
reports. About 35,000 user generated spam reports were submitted to Google. The
figures were shared by Juan Felipe Ricon, member Google Manual Actions.
He also added that Google has different ways for detecting
spam but still considers “User generated spam reports” as a priority to fight
spam. However, the 65% ratio is only due to Google reliance on other spam
fighting methods as not all users are good at user generated spam reporting.
