Bing Launches Coding Help Feature for Programmers

Bing launches a new help feature for programmers in collaboration with HackerRank to seek help frequently. It offers an executable code in the search results which is not something provided by the other famous developer search engines such as Mozilla Developer Network and Stack Overflow.

According to the tool’s official announcement, engineers visit search engines to get answers to various sites such as Stackoverflow, Stackexchange and other blogs. You will now get a streamlined alternative which not only offers a unique coding solution you require but also assists in code editing to play with it in real-time.

It does not require installation of any IDE and saves endless time otherwise spent in going back and forth from search engine to a code editor. For example, if you are looking to concatenate a string but do not have the basic idea of where to start from, start searching for “string concat C#” to get an accurate answer of how the code looks.

When editing the code, the results will be presented in an interactive code editor which you can execute directly in Bing to see what is happening around.  This helps in improving the productivity potential to troubleshoot the code in a code editor without needing to troubleshoot anything by trial and error. Bing’s code editor supports languages such as C, C++, PHP, Python, Java and PHP with more languages to be added to it soon.
